Marcos Sanoja García Wrote About Caracas’s Underground Music Scene
For Caracas Chronicles, Marcos Sanoja García wrote about “the underground music scene in Venezuela and how several artists such as Arca, Safety Trance and DJ Babatr have gained a significantly larger abroad than in their own country.”
In the article, García writes that the “collective impact” of these artists is “inmeasurable.” He states, “They have expanded the boundaries of Latin music, mixing experimental, disruptive, and avant-garde sounds. Still, in Venezuela, it is barely recognized as part of our cultural heritage.”
