For Vogue, Andrea Javor wrote an essay reflecting on her experience getting divorced in her 20s.
She told Study Hall, “I’m incredibly passionate about the power of storytelling in all its forms, and I feel so fortunate to be able to pursue both. There’s something truly special about crafting narratives that resonate, whether it’s for a brand or a personal experience. I’m dedicating this whole happy experience to 25-year-old Andrea who was burning long hours at an ad agency, secretly wanting to write while reciting a sad internal script that she’d never be good enough.”
Javor explained to Study Hall the significance of her essay: “I’ve written extensively about my second divorce, but this is the first piece about going through such a significant life event at a tender young age. I hope it resonates with those who have navigated similar paths.”
Javor’s writing has appeared in The Guardian, Newsweek, Huffpost, and Slate.
