Benjamin Swift Reported On The Social Impact Of Bolivia’s 2024 Wildfires
For The Guardian, Benjamin Swift reported on the social impact of the 2024 wildfires on Bolivia’s tropical dry forests.
Swift told Study Hall, “Coverage of Bolivia’s wildfires has been mostly limited to during the few months or so when the fires are burning, but for many impacted, the fires’ worst effects began once the flames were extinguished. In this piece I explore the health, educational, and other continuing consequences of the wildfires that burnt an area equivalent to the size of Portugal last year.”
Swift’s writing has appeared in BioScience, Mongabay, and other outlets.
