C.M Crockford Wrote A History of Violence Through One Piece of Music

For Public Parking, C.M. Crockford wrote about Michael Nyman, Steven Pinker, soccer riots, and how “art can rebuke even the most enlightened Harvard professors.” 

The experimental  piece is composed of a series of vignettes referencing everything from public intellectuals to film soundtracks to raucous soccer fans. 

Crockford’s writing has appeared in Genrepunk Magazine, Massachusetts Review, and Paste Magazine
