Ellen Acconcia Wrote About Longing For A Home

For the August Drift and Dribble Miscellany literary website, Ellen Acconcia wrote about her experience conflating her “longing for a home different from her Brooklyn walk up” and “the camaraderie and comfort” missing from her “tiny family.” She told Study Hall,  “I used remembrances from the time my family spent each summer at a lake cottage to contrast my life in the city.”
