Jackie Fishman Wrote About Why She Bucked The Downsizing Trend For Retirees

by | March 24, 2025

For Business Insider, Jackie Fishman wrote about why she decided to move to a bigger space that accommodated her needs.

She told Study Hall,  “We loved our two-bedroom, two-bath condo in “walkable” city of Arlington, VA, but when we had four grandchildren in five years, we didn’t have space to have everyone over comfortably. So we left it to move to a four bedroom house on a leafy cul-de-sac in Potomac, MD where we easily have ten people for meals and there’s a playroom for the kids.”

Fishman has written various articles for Business Insider about parenting and finances.
