Sandy Allen Wrote An Op-Ed Criticizing Brown University

For The Boston Globe, Sandy Allen wrote an op-ed holding Brown University, their alma mater, accountable for striking a deal with the Trump administration. Allen criticized Brown for disregarding the needs of the trans community.  Allen told Study Hall, “Last week I heard about Brown University’s capitulation to the Trump administration and was greatly disheartened. I therefore started pitching and figuring out how to make some noise. This Boston Globe op-ed is what’s resulted.” 

Allen’s writing has appeared in Eater, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and other outlets.
