Study Hall and UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism Partner For A Second Year
Study Hall is happy to announce that its entering the second year of a partnership with the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, providing the school with memberships at a discounted rate. As part of the partnership, the program’s students get access to Study Hall’s resources.
“It’s tough out there in the journalism world – especially if you are a freelancer,” Betsy Rate, Director of Career Development at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, wrote in an email.
“We want our students to enter it with the best resources at their disposal. With Study Hall’s pitching and rate guides, newsletters, listservs, and Slack account — not to mention the vibrant people who make up the SH community — a membership to the group gives our students a running start,” she wrote.

During the past few years, UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism students have worked with outlets like Los Angeles Times and The New York Times, and covered a range of crucial topics like holding the powerful accountable.
