Study Hall Member Katie Dancey-Downs Reported On The Communities In Galicia Fighting Forest Fires

 

For The Ecologist, Katie Dancey-Downs reported on how Galicia’s de-eucalyptus bridges are fighting forest fires in Europe. Dancey-Downs says, “I’d love to explore more of this topic, and spend some time with communities fighting forest fires.” 

The piece explores the grassroots community’s resilience and determination to fortify their homes from forest fires.
