Study Hall Member Taylor Michael Wrote About the Bronx AIM Biennial
For All Arts, Taylor Michael, a Study Hall member, wrote about the Bronx Museum’s Bronx AIM Biennial and how the program “aims to help foster a more sustainable and wholesome arts community.” In her piece, Michael wrote about how “artists in this year’s show are particularly concerned with sustainability within the field as far as climate.” She notes how the exhibition, which is on view until June 16th, features work that grapples with topics like “belonging, rituals, representation and current or historical issues such as… colonialism and labor rights.” Michael spoke to the curator and a few of the artists involved.
Michael has written for Artsy, Publishers Weekly, and Hyperallergic.
