by | March 10, 2025

For Literary Hub, Angelina Mazza reported on “romance’s rising profile among mainstream literary readers.” For the piece,  she spoke with “authors, editors, booksellers, publicists, and agents over several months to better understand the genre’s changing cultural perception.”

The report explores how now “major literary events” are featuring “romance panels” and romance authors are regularly headlines and keynote speakers.

Mazza told Study Hall, “Call it a literary vibe shift: spaces that once excluded romance are opening their doors to the genre.”

Mazza’s writing has appeared in The Rumpus, Paste Magazine, and other outlets.
