Lynnette Lyons Wrote About Her Uncertainty Over Whether She Will Be A Grandmother

For Business Insider, Lynnette Lyons wrote about her experience coming to terms with the uncertainty over whether she will ever be a grandmother. Lyons told Study Hall, “Like many Gen Xers, I assumed when I had my children that I would one day enjoy the big pay off of grandchildren to spoil.”

She added, “After learning one of my adult children is not currently planning to have children, another remains unsure, and the third wants children but plans to postpone having a family for several (of her most fertile) years, I was hit with the realization that I may never hear anyone call me ‘Grammy.’ This article details my struggle to deal with this newfound awareness.”
