For Hell World, Rowan Glass wrote about “the achievements, challenges, and prospects of the Rojava Revolution at its 12th anniversary” and how the autonomous zone in northern Syria represents “a radical transformation of politics and society.” The zone, which Glass describes as “liberatory alternative to the globally dominant status quo” emerged from the brutal Syrian civil war.
