by | October 21, 2024

For Well+Good, Tene Goodwin wrote about “the ocean as a tool for healing and how research shows float therapy and other mindfulness activities can help alleviate anxiety and improve sleep.”

In the piece, Goodwin writes about how the natural waters near her childhood home helped her overcome anxiety-induced insomnia. She writes, “My organic float therapy set me on the path to becoming reacquainted with aspects of my personality I thought I’d lost forever—namely, my creativity and general optimism. I look forward to recreating and continuing this therapeutic floating meditation and incorporating other mindfulness practices into my life.”

Goodwin is a writer from St. Johns, Antigua.
